Bonnefield announced today the addition of two seasoned investment professionals to its leadership team.  Richard D’Archivio has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer and Andrea Gruza has joined as Vice President, Capital Markets. “Since its founding 10 years ago, Bonnefield has become an expert in Canadian farmland investing, providing value to investors by applying a new financing model to a traditional industry. With the addition of Richard and Andrea, we are well positioned for the next 10 years and the growing interest we are seeing for the asset class,” said Tom Eisenhauer, Bonnefield’s president.

As large Canadian institutions have increased their exposure to private real assets in recent years, agriculture and farmland specifically have seen increased demand from public and private pensions, endowments and other investors in Canada.

Canadian farmland offers a real asset with strong macroeconomic and environmental trends impacting its future performance. Bonnefield’s commitment to maintaining farmland for farming, its focus on partnering with farm families, and its investment in value-enhancing capital expenditure projects has resulted in a high-quality portfolio of assets.

Richard D’Archivio As CFO, Richard has overall responsibility and oversight for finance, compliance, human resources and information technology.  He has nearly 25 years experience in the financial services industry with emphasis in investment and wealth management. Read more about Richard here.
